Welcome to Paper & Flora.

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to your use of paperandflora.com and to purchases made through our online shop.

By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully before making a purchase.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit or exclude any rights you have under applicable consumer protection law that cannot legally be limited or excluded.

2. Using Our Website

You may use paperandflora.com for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

You must not:

  • Use our website for unlawful or fraudulent purposes

  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our website, systems, or customer information

  • Introduce viruses, malicious code, or other harmful technology

  • Interfere with the operation or security of our website

  • Use automated systems to access or extract information from our website in a way that places an unreasonable burden on our systems or infringes our rights

  • Copy or commercially exploit website content without permission, except where permitted by law

We may suspend or restrict access to our website where reasonably necessary for security, maintenance, legal, or operational reasons.

3. Products

We make reasonable efforts to describe and display our products accurately.

Product photographs are intended to represent our products as accurately as reasonably possible. However, colours and appearance may vary depending on your screen, device, lighting, photography, or other factors.

Packaging may also vary from images shown on the website.

Measurements and other product information are provided as accurately as reasonably possible, but minor variations may occur.

Please review the product description and other information provided on the relevant product page before placing your order.

4. Product Availability

All products are subject to availability.

Adding a product to your shopping cart does not reserve that product.

Occasionally, an item may become unavailable after an order has been placed. If we are unable to supply a product you ordered, we will contact you and provide an appropriate refund for the unavailable item.

We reserve the right to discontinue products or change our product range at any time.

5. Prices

Prices are displayed on paperandflora.com in the currency shown during your shopping experience or checkout.

Prices may change from time to time. A price change will not normally affect an order that we have already accepted.

Shipping charges and any other applicable charges will be displayed during checkout before you complete your purchase.

For international orders, additional taxes, customs duties, import charges, brokerage fees, or similar charges may apply depending on the destination.

Unless expressly stated otherwise at checkout, such destination-country charges are not included in the price paid to Paper & Flora and may be payable by the recipient.

Please see the International Orders, Customs & Import Charges section below.

6. Placing an Order

To place an order, follow the checkout process on paperandflora.com.

You are responsible for ensuring that the information you provide is complete and accurate, including:

  • Your name

  • Email address

  • Billing information

  • Shipping address

  • Any other information required to process or deliver your order

Please check your order carefully before submitting it.

After you place an order, you may receive an automated acknowledgement or confirmation email.

An automated acknowledgement does not necessarily mean that we have accepted your order.

A binding contract for the purchase will arise when we accept the order, such as by confirming acceptance or dispatching the products, depending on the checkout and fulfilment process used.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including where:

  • A product is unavailable

  • There is an obvious pricing or product-description error

  • Payment cannot be authorised

  • We reasonably suspect fraud or misuse

  • We cannot deliver to the address provided

  • We are legally prohibited from completing the transaction

If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, we will refund the relevant amount.

7. Payment

Payments are processed through Squarespace Payments and associated payment infrastructure available through our Squarespace online shop.

The payment methods available to you will be displayed during checkout.

You must provide valid and authorised payment information.

By submitting an order, you confirm that you are authorised to use the selected payment method.

Paper & Flora does not need to independently store your complete payment card details to fulfil your purchase.

Payment processing may also be subject to the terms and privacy practices of the relevant payment service provider.

8. Shipping

Paper & Flora ships products from Ireland to destinations made available through our checkout.

Available shipping methods, estimated charges, and other applicable delivery information will be displayed during checkout or elsewhere on our website.

Please ensure that your shipping address is complete and accurate before submitting your order.

If you discover an error in your shipping information, contact us as soon as possible. We cannot guarantee that an address can be changed once an order has been processed or dispatched.

9. Delivery Times

Any delivery dates or timeframes displayed on our website, during checkout, or communicated to you are estimates unless we expressly state otherwise.

Actual delivery times may vary due to factors outside our reasonable control, including:

  • Postal or courier delays

  • Customs processing

  • Weather

  • Public holidays

  • Strikes or industrial action

  • High seasonal shipping volumes

  • Incorrect or incomplete delivery information

  • Destination-country procedures

  • Other events outside our reasonable control

We will take reasonable steps to fulfil orders within the timeframe communicated to you and in accordance with applicable consumer law.

If there is a significant delay, please contact us so that we can investigate.

Nothing in this section limits any statutory rights you may have if products are not delivered within the period required by applicable consumer law.

10. International Orders, Customs & Import Charges

Paper & Flora sells products internationally.

International orders may be subject to customs duties, import VAT, taxes, handling charges, brokerage fees, or other charges imposed by the destination country or delivery provider.

Unless expressly stated otherwise at checkout, these charges are not collected by Paper & Flora and are the responsibility of the recipient.

Customs rules vary between countries. Customers ordering internationally are responsible for checking applicable import requirements before placing an order.

Paper & Flora is not responsible for delays caused by customs authorities or destination-country import procedures where those delays are outside our reasonable control.

Nothing in this section limits rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer law.

11. Your Right to Cancel

If you are a consumer in Ireland, the European Union, or another jurisdiction that provides a statutory cooling-off or cancellation right for online purchases, you may have the right to cancel an eligible purchase without giving a reason.

For consumers covered by the EU rules on distance contracts, the statutory cancellation period will generally expire 14 days after the day on which you, or a person nominated by you other than the carrier, acquires physical possession of the goods, subject to applicable rules and exceptions.

If an order contains multiple goods delivered separately, different rules may apply when determining when the cancellation period begins.

To exercise a statutory cancellation right, you must inform us of your decision to cancel through a clear statement before the applicable cancellation period expires.

You can contact us at:

Email: hello@paperandflora.com

You may provide your order number and sufficient information for us to identify your order and request.

Where applicable law requires us to provide or accept a model cancellation form, you may also use that form, although you do not have to use it if another clear statement is sufficient under applicable law.

12. Our 14-Day Returns Policy

In addition to rights available under applicable consumer law, Paper & Flora accepts eligible returns subject to this Returns Policy.

If you wish to return an eligible product, please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order.

To request a return, contact:

Email: hello@paperandflora.com

Please include:

  • Your name

  • Order number

  • The product you wish to return

  • The reason for your return, if you wish to provide one

We will provide appropriate return instructions.

Unless the product is faulty, damaged, incorrect, or applicable law provides otherwise, returned products should be:

  • Unused

  • In their original condition

  • Complete

  • Appropriately packaged for return

You are responsible for taking reasonable care of products while they are in your possession.

We may make a deduction from a refund where permitted by law if a product has been handled beyond what is reasonably necessary to establish its nature, characteristics, and functioning.

Your statutory rights are not affected by this Returns Policy.

13. Return Shipping Costs

For a standard change-of-mind return, the customer is responsible for the direct cost of returning the product unless:

  • We state otherwise

  • The product is faulty

  • The product is damaged

  • You received the wrong product

  • Applicable law requires us to bear the return cost

We recommend using an appropriate tracked or otherwise reliable delivery service for returns where practical.

You are responsible for ensuring returned products are packaged appropriately.

Where a return arises because of an error by Paper & Flora or because a product is faulty, damaged, or not as described, please contact us before returning it so that we can provide appropriate instructions.

14. Refunds

Once an eligible return is received and assessed, we will process the applicable refund using the original payment method unless otherwise agreed or required by law.

Where you validly exercise a statutory cancellation right, we will provide the refund required by applicable law, including any qualifying standard outbound delivery charge where legally required.

Additional delivery costs resulting from your choice of a more expensive delivery method than our least expensive standard delivery option may not be refundable where applicable law permits.

For statutory cancellations, we may be permitted to withhold reimbursement until we receive the returned goods or you provide evidence that you have sent them back, whichever occurs first.

Refund processing times may vary depending on your bank, card issuer, payment provider, or other financial institution.

Your statutory rights remain unaffected.

15. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Products

Please contact us as soon as reasonably possible if:

  • A product arrives damaged

  • You receive the wrong product

  • A product is faulty

  • A product does not materially match its description

Contact us at hello@paperandflora.com and provide your order number and details of the issue.

We may reasonably request photographs or other information that helps us understand the problem.

Where a product does not conform to your statutory consumer rights, you may be entitled to remedies under applicable law, which may include repair, replacement, price reduction, refund, or other remedies depending on the circumstances and applicable jurisdiction.

Nothing in these Terms limits those statutory rights.

16. Lost or Delayed Orders

If your order has not arrived within the expected timeframe, please contact us at hello@paperandflora.com.

We may need to investigate the delivery with the relevant postal or courier service before determining the appropriate resolution.

We are not responsible for delays outside our reasonable control, but this does not limit any rights or remedies you have under applicable consumer law.

17. Incorrect Shipping Addresses and Failed Delivery

You are responsible for providing an accurate and complete delivery address.

If an order cannot be delivered because the address supplied was incorrect or incomplete, or because delivery was not accepted or collected, additional shipping charges may apply if the order needs to be sent again.

Any such charges will only be applied where permitted by applicable law and appropriate in the circumstances.

If an order is returned to us as undeliverable, please contact us to discuss the available options.

18. Promotions and Discount Codes

From time to time, Paper & Flora may offer discounts, promotional codes, or special offers.

Unless stated otherwise:

  • Promotional offers cannot be exchanged for cash

  • A promotion may be subject to an expiry date

  • Additional conditions may apply to individual promotions

  • Promotions may not be combined unless expressly permitted

  • We may refuse use of a promotional code where we reasonably believe it has been obtained or used fraudulently or contrary to its terms

Promotions do not affect your statutory consumer rights.

19. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, the content of paperandflora.com belongs to Paper & Flora or is used with permission.

This may include:

  • Product designs

  • Artwork and illustrations

  • Photographs

  • Graphics

  • Logos

  • Branding

  • Written content

  • Website design elements

  • Product descriptions

Copyright, trade mark, design, and other intellectual property laws may protect this material.

You may view and use our website for your own personal, non-commercial purposes.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, sell, commercially exploit, or use our content without permission except where permitted by law.

Purchasing a Paper & Flora product does not transfer ownership of any intellectual property rights associated with the design, artwork, branding, or other protected material embodied in or associated with that product.

20. Reviews and Other Content You Submit

If our website allows you to submit reviews, photographs, comments, or other content, you are responsible for ensuring that your submission is lawful and does not infringe another person's rights.

You must not submit content that is unlawful, defamatory, fraudulent, threatening, abusive, infringing, or otherwise inappropriate.

Where you submit content for publication on our website, you grant us the permissions reasonably necessary to display and use that content in connection with operating and promoting Paper & Flora, subject to applicable law.

21. Website Availability

We aim to keep paperandflora.com available and functioning correctly, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.

We may temporarily suspend or restrict access for reasons including:

  • Maintenance

  • Updates

  • Security

  • Technical problems

  • Circumstances outside our reasonable control

We are not responsible for losses caused solely by temporary website unavailability where liability can lawfully be excluded.

22. Third-Party Services and Links

Our website may contain links to websites or services operated by third parties.

We do not control those websites and are not responsible for their content, availability, terms, or privacy practices.

The use of third-party services may be subject to separate terms and conditions.

23. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.

In particular, nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded.

If you are purchasing as a consumer, your statutory rights remain unaffected.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Paper & Flora will not be responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed or losses resulting from circumstances outside our reasonable control.

If you use our products or website for commercial or business purposes, different limitations may apply to the maximum extent permitted by law.

24. Events Outside Our Reasonable Control

We will not be responsible for delay or failure to perform an obligation where that delay or failure results from circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Examples may include:

  • Natural disasters

  • Severe weather

  • Fire or flooding

  • War or civil disturbance

  • Government restrictions

  • Strikes or industrial action

  • Transport disruption

  • Postal or courier disruption

  • Internet or telecommunications failures

  • Significant failures affecting third-party service providers

Where such an event affects an order, we will take reasonable steps to minimise disruption and communicate with you where appropriate.

Your statutory rights remain unaffected.

25. Privacy and Cookies

We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Our use of cookies and similar technologies is described in our Cookie Policy.

Please review both policies for more information.

26. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to:

  • Our business

  • Our products or services

  • Our website

  • Payment or delivery arrangements

  • Applicable laws or regulations

The Terms that apply to a purchase will generally be those in effect when the relevant contract is formed, subject to any changes required by law.

The latest version of these Terms will be available on paperandflora.com with the date of the most recent update displayed at the top.

27. Governing Law

These Terms and contracts between you and Paper & Flora are governed by the laws of Ireland, subject to any mandatory consumer protection laws that apply to you in your country of residence.

If you are a consumer living outside Ireland, this choice of law does not deprive you of protections provided by mandatory consumer laws that apply to you and cannot lawfully be excluded by contract.

28. Disputes

If you have a problem with an order or purchase, please contact us first so that we can try to resolve the matter.

You can contact us at hello@paperandflora.com.

Nothing in these Terms prevents you from using any dispute-resolution process, court, regulator, or consumer-protection mechanism available to you under applicable law.

29. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.

30. No Waiver

If we do not immediately enforce a provision of these Terms, this does not mean that we have waived our right to enforce it later.

31. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with any policies or information expressly incorporated into them, form the terms governing purchases made through paperandflora.com.

Nothing in this section limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.
